The problem

Nobody knows a job wasn't done until the client walks in

For businesses whose work happens off-site and out of sight — cleaning teams, remote facilities staff, anyone servicing a site nobody from head office is standing in — a missed shift doesn't announce itself. If a worker doesn't turn up, there's often no way to know until a client arrives the next morning and finds the job undone. By then the damage is already done, and repeated misses put the whole contract at risk. There was no way to catch a skipped site, or a visit that was suspiciously short, before it became a complaint.

The build

A QR code, and a nightly check for anything that needs attention

Masc Attendance replaces guesswork with a simple per-site QR code and an automatic exception check every night:

• A QR code posted at each site — workers scan on arrival and departure, no app install, no login
• Every site has its own expected schedule, time window and allocated job time
• Each night, the system checks every scheduled site against what actually happened
• Missed attendance — a worker who was expected but never scanned in triggers an immediate manager email naming exactly who and where
• Short visits — a check-in-to-check-out gap well under the time the job should take flags that specific visit for review
• Nothing goes out on a normal night — only exceptions reach the manager's inbox, so real issues never get buried in routine noise

Instead of finding out from an unhappy client, Masc Attendance flags a missed or suspiciously short visit before the next shift even starts — giving a business the chance to fix it, communicate with the client, or send someone back, rather than losing a contract over a job nobody knew had gone wrong.
